HealthEDD will establish a unique market niche by supplying web-based information via animated videos that make practical and scientifically valid lifestyle information accessible and entertaining. These animated skits will become the icon of the Company’s presence and function to consumers. Fed by the HEDD Knowledge Base, potential products and services could include:

A second tier of information will be designed to be an enhanced rendition of the same information, with deeper and more comprehensive information and packaged with much more illustration and video. This would be a web business were we can rearrange and buttress information to make it age and group appropriate. This tier could be initially available to individuals through subscription and to several types of groups specifically, corporations, schools, and health care providers and non-profit and government organizations.
- Mobile Phone Apps
We will mobilize our website in two ways. First we will offer iPhone, Blackberry and Google mobile phone users a low cost or free application of downloadable animations to serve as fun reminders of good, daily choices. This can be done as content is being developed, as a means to generate a continuing revenue stream prior to website launch. Second we will convert the website itself into a dynamic mobile version enabling anytime, anywhere connection to on-the-go internet users.
- DVD/CDs
Selected animations and webinars will be packaged for different markets: corporate, schools, health care professionals, individuals by age groupings.
- Books & Manuals
A variety of books and manuals will be written, packaged for different markets: corporate, schools, health care professionals, individuals by age groupings.
- Website1. Videos/Animations/Illustrated Lifestyle Habits & Health Information
- Personal Coaching
On-line or phone coaching with individual or corporate packages.
Good intentions are not enough; people have to choose to change their behavior, experiences or environment, and then commit to following through. HEDD will provide coaching to individuals who would like to talk with a health professional about site information, or their test results, or help with charting their own lifestyle changes.
HEDD will either train its own coaches or contract with existing online coaching services to provide growth-promoting partnerships that focus on the new life skill of wellness mastery, work through the life issues that underlie life choices and work with parents to develop and implement family wellness plan. Coaching packages will offer maintenance program options to prevent relapse and consolidate gains.
- Corporate Consulting
Using it’s trained coaches, HEDD will provide consulting to corporate and public health wellness programs and to health care professionals for ways to enhance and/or expand their health promotion efforts.
- Workshops – Seminars – Webinars
HOC will host an online training center of video webinars that are delivered by health experts trained by HOC. These will be modeled like Business Expert Webinars and would allow us to kick start a revenue stream without the initial production costs of DVDs, Videos, etc. These webinars will be 1-hour in length and will cover a variety of topics depending on market research or customer requests, such as Nourishments, Basic Maintenance, Structure, Stress Response, how to use habits to change other habits, etc
Public users will be able to register for any webinar on the schedule via online for a fee, while corporate/organizational users will be given access to webinars via their organizational memberships. “Best of” Webinars might be packaged and provided on CD/DVD for sale at a later date.
HEDD will also develop a package of workshops and seminars as requested by partners or customers.
- Games
The best way to reach youth would be the creation of a lifestyle game that appeals to the young, no small feat due to general preference for games of violence. Because of the enormous development cost and need for accurate, validated information on which to base the game, it’s conception and design should wait until the Healthy Behaviors Knowledge Based is near completion.
- TV: Shorts or Programs
Television offers several of possibilities from a scheduled series (we have proprietary ideas for such a program) to a variety of short videos such as fillers in children’s program, public health promos.
Data Products and Services
- Healthy Behaviors Knowledge Base
A first-ever evidence-based authoritative central resource using knowledge engineering to create a scientifically and clinically-validated interactive database about how different key lifestyle behaviors impact the body to produce positive and negative health consequences.
This knowledge base will first be developed to an educational quality so it can be used immediately for the various health promotion efforts. Eventually, for a great deal more money, it will enhanced to prescription quality and a full expert system for physicians to enable not only confidence, but legal protection in writing prescriptions for lifestyle behaviors before drugs or surgery. The knowledge base will most likely be available as a subscription service separate from it’s role in the web site, which will be determined after development and extensive market analysis. For full description see Knowledge Base.
Diagnostic Products and Services
- Self Evaluator
The evaluator tool will be derived from the Healthy Behaviors Knowledge Base (HBKB), allowing users to enter symptoms to identify which lifestyle behaviors are most likely to improve well being. This diagnostic technique would be packaged with the HBKB.
- Home Bio-Markets Test Kits
Home test kits will allow users to evaluate their micronutrients levels, pH, glucose and insulin levels, toxins, neurotoxins, and bio-markers for inflammation and other conditions. These results will interface with the website’s Self-Evaluator and other self-assessment options so the individual can expand the base of their information to target health behaviors for improvement. These kits will be available only as the company is able to procure or reference validated tests for home use.
- Kiosks: Bio-Markers testing and revelant ‘What & How-To’ information
Development of blood tests for public kiosks will depend upon nanotechnology, i.e., lab tests on a micro chip (a la the Star Trek tricorder), which replicate how a mosquito pulls blood out of a body—so small there is no blood on skin. This is a huge technological issue since one must conquer the problem of keeping everything sterile. It also depends on the development of research such as that of the Institute of Systems Biology and the P4 Medicine Institute in molecular, genomic, proteomic and cellular markers for effective diagnosis to predict and prevent disease. HEDD has identified about 2 dozen potential tests which would provide information on all of the top chronic health problems primarily caused by lifestyle choices, including functional nutrient test, inflammation (especially for cardiovascular issues), blood sugar and lipids, thyroid, toxicology, infectious diseases, obesity, depression, asthma, cancer.
25 year Vision: Community Products and Services in partnership with health clinics and other businesses.
- Consumer Products: food, devices, etc.
These will be developed over time as a result of customer requests, lack of availability, and market forces.
- Model Community Center and Health Clinics
These would be created in partnership with health clinics to create a whole community for wellness. For example they could include a variety of fitness programs, music, art, gatherings, complementary therapies and any other program contributing to physical and mental wellness.
- Insurance
This would be developed to cover all or most of the services offered in the model community centers, probably in partnership with existing companies.
